Amblit Technologies purchased the MakeBlock Educational Robot Kit from Amazon in November 2022 for $68.00. A description of the kit can be found here. The kit includes a Arduino Nano controller and is programmed using MakeBlock’s programming environment based on Scratch. To program the robot, a MakeBlock Bluetooth Dongle enabling communications between your computer and the robot must be purchased for approximately $15. A description of the dongle can be found here. Batteries are also NOT included. The remote control requires a CR2025 battery, and the robot 4 AA bateries.
There are also two (2) add-on kits which can purchased and added to the robot. Each add-on provides different capabilities and cost around $25.00 each.
