Elegoo, the kit manufacturer, has placed a video on YouTube that shows how to build the robot (click here). The video starts with a display on the parts included in the kit and then procedes step by step on the construction of the kit. The video has background music and occassionally includes message indicating where special attention needs to be done. If you use the video to construct the kit, be prepared to stop and start the video as you complete each step.
- Assemble the motor bracket (0.12)
- Assemble the motor (1:06)

- Assmble the foothold (3:54)
- Assemble the circuit board (4:54)
- Assemble the ultrasonic sensor & mount the circuit board (5:31)
- Assemble the battery box (7:45) NOTE: Fully charge the included battery before using.
- Assemble the top board (9:28)
- Wire the motor (10:22)
- Construction complete: Start Tumbller.
Tips
- Make sure to tighten all of the screws, but don’t over tighten them.
- Watch and follow how all of the wires are routed, so they do not impede the operation of the robot.
- Be patient. Don’t force anything. If not sure, repeat watching the appropriate step in the video.
